Propspeed recently attended the 61^st annual Genoa Boat Show, held on September 16-21 in the beautiful Genoa, Italy. The show, spanning 200,000 square meters, saw a total of 92,377 visitors over five days, as well as a number of special guests including the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team, and Olympic gold medalists Vela Caterina Banti and Ruggero Tita.

Propspeed’s Matt Forbes, Sales Director EMEA, and our European team had a busy and successful show, meeting Propspeed customers and introducing our new brand to the Italian market. This year, the Propspeed stand featured real-life comparisons demonstrating how our products work, displaying a half-coated versus half-uncoated propeller, transducer, and underwater lights. These provided a great visual representation as to just how much growth an uncoated surface can accumulate, making it easy to see how it would affect performance. Featured along with the product displays was our new Propspeed Commercial Kit, providing visitors with the first in-person glimpse of the new kit and its components.

The Genoa Boat Show also provided the perfect opportunity to introduce our newest member of the Propspeed team Gianluca Candelaresi, Sales Manager – Italy, to his home market. Born and raised in Italy, Candelaresi will focus on delivering exceptional service to the Italian boat building and boatyard segment. “Every member of the Propspeed family is dedicated to delivering the best products and service to each and every customer.
