Propspeed Heads to IBEX 2021

The International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) is North America’s largest marine industry trade event, bringing exhibitors and visitors from around the world together in Tampa, Florida. The 30^th annual IBEX wrapped a successful anniversary show on September 30^th, after three busy days of networking, seminars, conferences, and workshops.

Following a cancellation in 2020, this year saw more than 560 exhibitors excited to be back and reconnecting with the marine industry, with more than 3,200 visitors attending the show. While COVID had an effect on attendance this year, many exhibitors still experienced a successful show.

“Despite the loss of a few international vendors, overall, the turnout was fantastic. We were thrilled to be able to come to IBEX with great products that can really boost the return for our OEM partners. I was very impressed with the breadth of innovative new products, but also with how businesses were using the consolidation in the market to streamline their purchasing and look for strong industry partnerships,” said Rusty Morgan, Propspeed’s VP of Sales & Operations – Americas. “The quality of the products out in the market today speak to the idea that consumers are looking for value over price, and the companies that are doing best are the ones that add value by supporting their customers long after the sale is done.  That is why I have an immense amount of respect for our company and our team on the ground, nobody does this better than Propspeed.”

'Pitch the Press' event

Propspeed was also proud to be the sponsor of this years ‘Pitch the Press’, a unique, live event featuring product pitches from exhibiting companies chosen by industry journalists. Each company are given time to present their new product, or their company, which is then followed by a short Q & A. The event took place on September 29^th from 3.30 – 5pm, with Propspeed featuring the Happy Hour.

To bridge the gap between shows, IBEX launched IBEX 365, which offers year-round access to the latest company news, new product launches, industry updates, and more.
