Shortly after her delivery, Flying Fox is now one of the largest boats in the world available for charter. While the charter price hasn’t been revealed, the boat is valued at a cool US$400 million and carries a US$10 million Airbus H155 helicopter on board, so it won’t come cheap.
Flying Fox is 136 metres (446 feet) long and can accommodate up to 22 guests in its 11 cabins, as well as 25 more cabins for its 54 crew. The superyacht was designed by Espen Øeino, with the interior design by Mark Berryman, and was completed this year by Lürssen Yachts in Germany.
She features a pool on the main deck, as well as a two-deck saloon with a fireplace for those cooler nights. Entertainment wise, Flying Fox features a cinema, beach area, swim platforms, and a two-deck spa that includes a gym, sauna, and massage area, as well as an elevator to around the massive yacht with ease. For visitors, the boat has two helipads, which can accommodate the largest helicopters on the market. Flying Fox cruises along at 10 knots, with a top speed of 15 knots.
