Mark Lister first had Propspeed applied to his brand-new Gori folding propeller in 2020 by Diversified Marine Services. After launching the boat, the prop transitioned between gears just as it did before the Propspeed application, with the coating having no adverse effect on the folding mechanism.

“With respect to Propspeed’s performance, I couldn’t be happier. We can get rapid growth build-up in this area, particularly during July and August when the water is the warmest.” Mark uses his boat frequently throughout the summer for cruising and competing in weekly race nights and charity cups and cleans the hull and running gear every other week. “Each time I dove I found just a small amount of growth (a film) on the prop which wiped off easily with a sponge, leaving the prop in a like-new condition,” says Mark.

“The bottom line is that, after one season, I find less growth build-up with Propspeed than the product I was using on my previous propeller.”
